O How He Loves Us.....

Do you see other women who seem to be so close and well, so loved by Jesus?

Do you ever feel you are watching them have a relationship with God and His people from behind a thick glass wall?

Satan is a liar.
He wants you to think you are all alone and that nothing matters.
He wants you to think you aren't good enough, spiritual enough, or deserving of God's love and His goodness.
Satan is a liar.

Jesus tells us in the Gospels on multiple accounts that God says you are:
* the apple of His eye
* the temple of His spirit
* the daughter of the King
* extravagantly loved
* relentlessly pursued
* worth the life of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Truth.
God is love.

stop interpreting God and His love through your circumstances.
start interpreting your circumstances through the loving, good character of God.

to start NOW, put your phone away. go to a place where you can be alone for 10 minutes and watch this twice.
notice how your spirit begins to swell. notice how you may get "chill bumps."
begin to be swept away by His affections and His extravagant love, His amazing grace, and His tender wooing.
you are loved.
In Christ, Who is Emmanuel, you are never alone.
He sees you. He loves you. He has good for you. He is delighted in you and delights in revealing His love to you.
You matter and everything you do, hidden or acknowledged, matters to God- nothing is wasted in His economy.

when you are done, take a few minutes and journal what you hear Him saying to you. journal your thoughts toward Him.
share your experience here with your G & B Sisterhood.

love is sweeter when it's shared- send this to the friend God is laying on your heart to share it with.

I FORGOT!

Dear Good & Beautiful Sisters,

I FORGOT our word and our Scripture!

Has anyone studied our word or Scripture this week?

In His Love,

Free Indeed

Our word to study this week is FREE, as in John 8:31-32 "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

To look up the word FREE in Strong's Concordance, click on this website:

http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G1659&t=KJV

Check out the Vine's Dictionary link within the website to read the definition of FREE -

What does Jesus say you have to do to the truth to be free?

According to the Greek meaning of FREE, what are you free from?

Why would that be important to the Jewish people that Jesus was talking to?

If someone told you to do something in order to get a desired outcome, wouldn't you want to make sure you understood EXACTLY what they were saying you had to do to get what you desired?

Type in John 8:31-32 in the search box and click on "know" to see the Greek meaning of that word.

why do you think Jesus said that the truth would set a believer in Him free?

who does the Bible say truth is in John 14:6?

How do you get to the Father, according to Jesus in 14:6?

so....what sins and religious rules hold you in bondage?

According to Jesus, how can you be freed from those?

Who freed you and when were you freed?

Spend a little time asking God what He wants to reveal to you about Himself in your discovery of FREE and how He wants you to respond to Him by changing what you believe about Him or sin or yourself?

Share this experience with your G & B Sisterhood by posting...

Isaiah 43:1-7

Your homework this week is to read Isaiah 43 each day.
How did you do?
If you chose to read each day in a different translation, which translations were the most revealing or spoke the most to you?

Let's read Isaiah 43:1-7 (ESV) together.

1But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
3For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I give Egypt as your ransom,
Cush and Seba in exchange for you.
4Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life.
5 Fear not, for I am with you;
I will bring your offspring from the east,
and from the west I will gather you.
6I will say to the north, Give up,
and to the south, Do not withhold;
bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the end of the earth,
7everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made."

When we read a passage of Scripture, we want to read it in a way that does 2 things:

* Bring us into the realization of the Presence of God

* Change how we live our lives

As we read God's Word, the Bible, we begin to understand that the Bible is God's revelation of Himself and His Ways.
God is not so much telling us something but SHOWING Himself to us.
The Bible is a personal, intimate conversation that is spoken and understood in a language of love between the Father and His Beloved children.

Read Isaiah 43:1-7 again.

This time, ask God to reveal Himself to you in His Word.

Ask Him to enable you to read His Words the Eph 1:17-19 way by asking Him to:
* give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him
* have the eyes of your hearts enlightened, so that you may know what is:
- the hope to which he has called you
- what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints
- what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might"

What sticks out about this verse to in a "big picture" way and do any lines seem to jump off the page or written just for you, where you are today?

What are God's Ways that He is revealing to you in this passage?

What does He say He will do? (Making a list is a great way to see how much He says He will do)

How does He feel and toward whom does He have His feelings toward?

Why does He say He has these feeling toward whom He has His feelings toward?

The Holy Spirit's job is to reveal and teach and lead you to God.

Do you believe what God is revealing to you?
If you believe what He has said, then you are a blessed woman.

Luke 1:45 - (you are a) blessed woman, who believed what God said, believed every word would come true!

How did you begin to be aware of God's Presence?

How will this revelation change how you are living?

Share with our sisterhood what you sense the Holy Spirit is sharing with you about God in this passage.
